Indoor-Outdoor living

Taking cues from the interior of the home, we designed custom industrial steel and wood enclosures for the patio. The extension provides protection from the elements for the new outdoor kitchen and privacy while dining. It also frames beautiful views to the rest of the outdoor space.

Custom Railing

This is rustic industrial. From basic, to a statement about the owners style, this renovated staircase and railing pulled the open concept first floor together.

We chose to go industrial, without being over the top. The I beam for the post, coupled with turnbuckles and rods provide an open modern feel with weight. Hickory stair treads and walnut risers for the stairs complete the renovation. 

VINTAGE TURNBUCKLES

We found these turnbuckles through our welder. They came from an old factory in Chicago, and provided the industrial connection we were looking for.

We couldn't wait to get our hands on these stairs, looked better instantly. We framed the new opening allowing the stairs to be wider towards the bottom.
